Art cabriolet legs, carved pedal lyre and and sculpted music rack, executed in rich ribbon-grain mahogany, finished in warm red/brown high polish. Original ivory keys (buffed); all hardware polished including solid brass leg ferrules. Plate refinished in distinctive 'polished copper' colour, soundboard refinished. New: tuning pins and strings, hammers and dampers. Fully regulated and voiced. Original one family owned.

Magnificent 'one of' Bell art-case upright, flagship design, believed to have been commisioned for the C.N.E. of 1903. Matched grain black walnut with burled relief carvings and turnings on all surfaces. Pedals replated, cabinet refinished. Completely remanufactured including: new pinblock, tuning pins, strings; soundboard shimmed and refinished; plate refinished with preservation of hand-painted artwork; mainframe has been dismantled and glue-reinforced; new hammers, dampers and action leathers; new keytops;with matching ball and claw stool. Rare find, Schweighofer’s Söhne 7 ft. 0 in. art-case grand c. 1895 (chosen as best of approx.400 available pianos). 'Commisioned' cabinet refinished in black satin.Ornate, full relief carved 'urn' style legs, pedal lyre and music rack with candle holders. 'Heart and dagger' mouldings on lid and rim peripheries. Unusual 'fawn' wood lid interior. Elaborate brass marquetry (inlay) nameboard insignia and endorsements.
Fully rebuilt including:
- new pinblock, tuning pins and strings
- soundboard refinished with graphic design photographic reproduction of decal
- plate refinished
- new hammer shanks with flanges, wippens (with carbon ABS jacks) and mainrail, hammers and dampers
